We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Fleet Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and light repairs on our fleet of trucks and trailers. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM position, offering stable hours and a friendly, supportive work environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing routine preventative maintenance (PM) on tractors and trailers.
- Conducting safety inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues and making minor repairs.
- Documenting work performed accurately and timely.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Reporting any major repairs needed to management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- CDL is a plus, but not required.
